You’re going to see the word “avatar” a lot in the following questionnaire.
If you’re not already familiar with this concept, the avatar is a fictitious, idealized customer constructed from what we know about your current customers, the type of customers you would like to attract and the types of people who are interacting with your business on social media and/or digital ads. This is what many marketers generically refer to as the “target market”.
We like this personalized construct because it helps us to better understand the motivating beliefs, fears, interests and desires of the people you most want to reach. Having a fundamental understanding of our customers will allow us to target the right people in the right locations, using imagery and language that is interesting, engaging and ultimately encourages them to take the actions we want them to take.
