The avatar is a fictitious, idealized customer constructed from what we know about your current customers, the type of customers you would like to attract and the types of people who are interacting with your business on social media and/or digital ads. It’s a more personalized version of what marketers generically refer to as the “target market”.
This construct helps us to better understand the motivating beliefs, fears, interests and desires of the types of people who are most valuable to your business. The better we understand these people, the better we’ll be able target the right audiences in the right locations, using imagery and language that is interesting and engaging.
